Welcome to my website!
Hi, My name is Lance, and I am a singer, songwriter and guitarist -- usually performing under my stage name "Lance America". In 2003, I picked up my son's 3/4 sized guitar and taught myself to play guitar. And from there I was hooked. I quickly moved to a full-sized guitar, and have been picking up new songs, techniques and guitars ever since.
I perform in coffee shops, nightclubs, outdoor venues, worship services and private parties -- anywhere they will let me set up and play! I play a wide variety of music, from acoustic rock songs, to traditional favorites, to songs I have written. I have included some recordings so you can hear my sound, and some playlists, so you can see the range of music I play. And, for your special occasion, I can learn any new song that you request, or build a custom playlist!
I have all my own equipment and can set up and breakdown quickly for any setting, from 10 - 200 people. I am located in Lexington, Kentucky, moving soon to Sarasota, Florida.
